10.30am - Hill Cottage, School Road, Edingthorpe, North Walsham, Norfolk NR28 9SY - Shirley Gilbert - PLANT SALE
Home of HPS member.  Cottage garden, approximately 1/4 acre surrounding former farm workers' cottages.  Organically cultivated, never watered and densely planted with both traditional and unusual varieties of drought-resistant climbers, shrubs, perennials and annuals.  Fruit, vegetable and herb gardens, greenhouse and pond.  A real butterly and wildlife paradise.  Garden Workshops.  Featured in Amateur Gardener.
No entrance charge.  £2 only for refreshments

Directions:  3m NE of North Walsham.  Off B1150 halfway beetween North Walsham and Bacton, leave main road at Edingthorpe Green and continue straight towards Paston for 3/4m.  Cottage on L at top of hill.  Parking in adjacent field.

If you can, please bring along a well-potted and correclty labelled plant or two for our stall.  All money raised goes towards our group funds.

2.30pm - West View, Youngmans Lane, East Ruston, Nr Stalham Norfolk NR12 9JN -  Chris & Bev Hewitt
1 acre plantsman's garden including borders with trees and shrubs underplanted witeh carpets of hellebores and bulbs, pergolas with roses and clematis.  Greenhouse with many interesting plants.  A summer border with mixed perennials, vegetable parterre, tropical border, orchard and pond.

Directions: 3m N of Stalham.  Take B1149 Stalham to Bacton Road.  Tturn L after East Ruston Church.  Continue 3/4m turn L by Butchers Arms PH (Oak Lane).  Turn R into Youngmans Lane.  1st house on L.
