Open Gardens: Beccles Open Gardens Weekend June 30th to July 1st
The organising group, have made available the Beccles Community Bus to ferry our visitors to gardens and other places of interest - provided that they have a programme. This year it is hoped to include a map of the route and a timetable and mention of the pick-up and drop-off points within the town.
The Waveney Stardust 11 which will again be providing river trips. The face-lift to the Bell Tower is now complete and the more energetic will be able to avail themselves of the spectacular views it provides. I have climbed the tower and I thoroughly recommend it.
Entrance to the gardens et al is by programme which is bought on the day and, if as last year, you will be able to use it on both the days. Normally things kick-off around 10.00 am and all is well signed. It is possible, due to the gardens generally being in clusters, plus ample street parking, to visit the gardens by car.
Our garden 14 grange Road will be open on both days, afternoons only.
